I have over 10 years experience creating database driven web applications, in this time I have created hundreds of websites and a small selection of my current projects are listed below
I have worked with Just The Shop since 2001 when I created the website for
their Just Phones website. I am responsible for the
development of several e-commerce sites including
4 Mobiles and
Funky Hampers.
By improving the effiency of the ordering process, and by automating as much as possible, I have helped this small company to grow significantly without needing to take on any extra staff.
A Licence 2 Drive is a local driving
school based in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. Following an
aborted attempt to launch a website themselvse they approached me to advise
them on how to make the most of the Internet to promote their business.
By succesfully utilising pay-per-click advertising to direct potential customers to their website A Licence 2 Drive have recently expanded their coverage area to include Coventry and Solihull. The growth of their website has drawn in such an increase in customers the driving school has increased in size from two instructors to seven in just 12 months.
As well as freelancing I also work on a part-time employed and contract basis. You can find a few of my major projects listed below.
I manage and maintain the Pharmacists' Defence Association website. Although
not responsible for website content I planned and implemented
a vast improvement in Search Engine rankings in a congested 'marketplace'
I have also created a supplier extranet to interface into their in-house document management system, and also a fully content managed spin-off website for the PDA Union.
Working closely with an in-house graphic designer I created the
PPLS Pharmacy Locums website,
I continue to maintain the site and I'm currently in the process of
a redesign along with an upcoming launch of a new website for a
new division of the company.
The website uses a custom built templating engine to generate PHP scripts using XML and XSLT which seemlessly intgrates into the company's bespoke Delphi/Oracle CRM system.
